The Meadow Top is a simple and relaxed top that is knitted from the top down. It is knitted in a fine structured pattern with retrills on every third needle. First knit back and forth over the front piece, then knit sts up at the shoulders and knit the back.

Front piece and back piece are joined at the bottom at the armhole to the body, which is knitted in the round and finished with an icord edge. Since the width of the shoulder area is related to the chosen size and thus the excess width, the shoulders will extend further on the arms in the larger sizes than in the smaller sizes. This construction gives the feeling that the top has a small sleeve, but is held in to the arms with an icord edge that is knitted at the same time.
