Trading conditions for Butik Smuksak
The conditions apply in the event that no other written agreements have been entered into between you as the buyer and Butik Smuksak.
SHIPPING
The shipment of goods takes place with or without distribution with DAO 365 with insured parcel post.
All orders are packed in the order they arrive. Therefore, during sales and other campaigns, delivery times may be longer than usual.
Delivery time outside holidays, weekends and public holidays is normally 1-3 working days for shipments in Denmark
Freight rates
Free shipping on purchases of physical goods for over DKK 499 Danish package shop.
The Free Shipping limit only applies to physical goods, and not gift cards and PDF recipes, so be aware of that. All gift cards and recipes are sent as a PDF file to the specified e-mail together with the order confirmation.

EU shipments / EU shipment
All shipments sent to countries within the EU will be charged Danish VAT. Shipping DKK 95 on orders weighing up to 1.8 kg.
For orders weighing more than 1.8 kg, shipping costs an additional DKK 95, and 2 packages can be delivered. Delivery time is 14-21 days. This applies, for example, to Advent calendars, which are delivered in 2 packages.
All shipments inside the EU - prices shown on the webshop are inc.vat 25%

Shipments to Norway (VOEC scheme) - it is not possible to order to Norway for the time being.
Butik Smuksak is registered in the VOEC scheme, which means that Norwegian customers complete their purchases incl. Danish VAT of 25% and do not have to pay customs duty when the package enters Norway. Shipping DKK 95 on orders weighing up to 1.8 kg. For orders weighing more than 1.8 kg, shipping costs an additional DKK 95, and 2 packages can be delivered. Delivery time is 14-21 days. This applies, for example, to Advent calendars, which are delivered in 2 packages. IMPORTANT: if you have not received a TT number from Postnord 3-4 days after ordering, we must be contacted. It is the customer's responsibility to keep an eye on his package and have it picked up. Shipments outside the EU / Shipment outside of EU
We ship to Greenland, the Faroe Islands, the USA and other countries. Delivery time is 14-21 days.

IMPORTANT: if you have not received a TT number from Postnord 3-4 days after ordering, we must be contacted. It is the customer's responsibility to keep an eye on his package and have it picked up. Postage is not refunded for unclaimed packages that are returned to us, customs clearance fees are also deducted.
All shipments sent to countries outside the EU will be charged Danish VAT 25%, and the shipment will possibly be processed by customs upon import into your country. Customs duty may be charged.
Danish VAT of 25% is not imposed on orders from Greenland and the Faroe Islands.
If you want specific information about the customs regulations in your particular country, you must contact your local customs authorities.
We do not have the option of refunding any VAT paid, and any dispute concerning customs, VAT or registration fees is outside Butik Smuksak's responsibility.
IMPORTANT:
All shipments outside the EU will be added Danish VAT 25%. You can be charged additional VAT then your package arrives in your country. All extra costs considering VAT or customer clearance are not Butik Smuksak's responsibility, and will not be refunded.

If you do not receive a TT number within 3-4 days after ordering - please do contact us. It is the customer's responsibility to pick up the package, and notify us if the package has more than 14 days delay. We do not refund shipping costs in case the package is not packed up and returned back to us. We also withhold taxes if they have been applied to a package while returning to us.
No right of withdrawal
These agreements cannot be cancelled:
Delivery of digital content, e.g. PDF files, computer programs, apps, games, music, movies, etc.,
which is not delivered physically on e.g. CD or DVD, if you have previously agreed that the performance will be started and that your right of cancellation is thereby lost.
Right of withdrawal on yarn
As a consumer, you always have a 14-day right of withdrawal. We also have 60 day extended return right on yarn, which applies from the date of receipt. You must still be in possession of the receipt/order number. Extended right of return does not apply items from the "SALE" category. Here, as a consumer, you have the statutory 14-day right of return. If you have ordered several different items in one order, but they are delivered individually, the deadline runs from the day you receive the last item.
Right of withdrawal on accessories and knitting needles
The right to return accessories and knitting needles is 14 days from the date of receipt. There is given not extended right of return on accessories and knitting needles.
Return
To return your purchase, you are encouraged to set up a return shipment through Shipmondo on our return portal. This only applies to Danish customers. Be aware that shipmondo.com is your contracting party when purchasing returns. When creating a return on the return portal, please state the order number, otherwise you risk that we cannot identify you as the sender and refund the amount. Creating a return through our return portal costs DKK 29. You must bear the costs associated with returning the item yourself. Please note that we NOT pick up parcels sent to an incorrect address, including to our physical store or private address, and which were then delivered to a parcel shop. Therefore, we strongly encourage you to use our return portal, so that you ensure that your returned goods arrive at the correct address.
We only receive packages that are sent directly to the address.

Remember to include your order number in the return shipment so that we can identify you and your order.
We cannot offer a direct exchange. If you want to buy other items, you must make a new order.
Cancellation of part of the purchase
If you have purchased several items from us, you have the option of returning one or more items, even if they were purchased in one order.
Please note that you will not get the shipping costs back if you regret part of your purchase.
Refund of the purchase amount
If you regret your purchase, you will get your money back. If the item is impaired, we deduct the amount you are liable for.
We will refund the purchase amount received from you, including delivery costs (however, this does not apply to extra delivery costs in cases where you have chosen a different form of delivery than the cheapest form of standard delivery that we offer) no later than 14 days from the day on which we have received your notification that you want to cancel the agreement.
We return the money to the same card you used for the purchase. We do not pay out via Mobile Pay, therefore it is always your bank account that must be checked to see that the amount has been received. Please note that we will not notify you when the purchase amount has been refunded, but you must check your bank account yourself. We can withhold payment until we have received the item, unless you send us documentation that you have returned it.
If your purchase was made with a gift card, the amount will be refunded to the same gift card. Therefore, please save your gift card number until the balance is used up.
Sales and promotions
All promotions, offers, reductions and sales do not apply retroactively. The item's price at the time of ordering is valid.
If the item has lost value and this is because you have used it in a way other than what was necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and way of functioning of the item, you can only get a part of the purchase amount back. The amount you can get back depends on the commercial value of the item, and in some cases it may mean you can only get back the shipping costs.
We will contact the person concerned and inform them about this.
We recommend that you send the item back in the original packaging.
If the original packaging is missing or damaged, this may lead to a decrease in the value of the item.
RIGHT OF COMPLAINT
When you shop with us as a consumer, the rules of the Purchase Act apply to the purchase of goods.
This means that you have the right to complain for 24 months.
If your complaint is justified, this means that you can either get the item repaired, exchanged, the money back or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation.
If there is something missing, we ask for pictures. Just write to us what is missing and the quantity.
You must advertise within a "reasonable time" after you have discovered the error. If you complain within two months of discovering the fault, the complaint will always be timely.
If the complaint is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The item must always be sent back in proper packaging. Also remember to get a receipt for shipping so we can reimburse you for shipping costs.
COMPLAINT ACCESS
If you as a consumer want to complain about your purchase, you must contact info@butiksmuksak.dk. If we do not succeed in finding a solution, you can send a complaint to Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg via the Complaint portal for Nævnenes Hus.
In order to be able to complain, the product or service that you want to complain about must have cost at least DKK 1,110 and a maximum of DKK 100,000. For complaints about clothes and shoes, however, the price must have been at least DKK 720. There is a fee to have the complaint processed.
When you shop at an e-branded webshop, you can have your case processed for free - regardless of the size of the amount. Read more here.

Sending and withdrawing amounts
We pack and send the advent calendar continuously from September to November and collect the amount when your package is sent. If you buy other items on the same orders, they will be sent together with the advent calendar.
Right of return and exchange
The entire advent calendar can be returned within 14 days of receipt. Packaging of the contents of the advent calendar must be intact. Feel free to use our return portal. You can exchange yarn for other colors no later than 10/1/24, if the yarn and color are in our regular range. You cannot exchange for other yarn qualities and you cannot partially return the calendar, as the advent calendar is one complete product.
PAYMENT AND PRICES
With us you can pay with Dankort, Visa, Visa Electron, VPay, MasterCard, Maestro, JCB, MobilePay Online and Apple Pay.
Reservation of amount
If you pay with an international payment card, the amount is reserved immediately. The money is reserved on your card or account until:
1) We deduct the amount when we send the item, or
2) the money is released according to agreement with your card issuer.
You can read more about the rules for your specific card from your card issuer.
We do not charge card fees.
We withdraw money for orders that have been shipped, usually the same day, but sometimes it can take up to a week. If you have ordered items that are pre-order items - we will only withdraw when we have the item in stock and can send it.
All prices in Butik Smuksak - on the web address http://www.butiksmuksak.dk - are stated in Danish kroner (DKK) and include 25% VAT.
Sale items are ONLY available online.
If you want guidance in relation to color choice, yarn quantity for different recipes - please use e-mail: info@butiksmuksak.dk. It is always best to get guidance before buying if in doubt, rather than buying too little or something that doesn't match.
If you have questions about the amount of yarn for a specific recipe - always send us a link to the recipe itself and the desired size. We get a lot of inquiries and it will make our work easier if we get all the important info at once.

PERSONAL DATA POLICY
We need the following information when you shop with us:
Name, address, phone no. and email address.
We register and pass on the personal data that is necessary to be able to deliver the goods to you. Personal information, including name, address, telephone number and email address, is passed on to our delivery partners, GLS, DAO, Postnord and Shipmondo.
The personal information is registered with Butik Smuksak and stored for five years, after which the information is deleted.
We also collaborate with a number of other companies that store and process data. The companies only process information on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
We only work with data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your information with sufficient protection.
The data controller at butiksmuksak.dk is Butik Smuksak.
You have the right to be informed about which information we process about you.
If you believe that the information is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected. In some cases, we are obliged to delete your personal data if you ask for it. It can, for example, be if your data is no longer necessary in relation to the purpose for which we were to use it.
