Siw Sweater Junior is knitted from top to bottom with a round yoke formed by increases made in three evenly spaced rounds. First, the neck is knitted in rib, which is folded over and knitted together, after which it is continued in stockinette stitch with a color pattern down the yoke and the body. Finally, the sleeves are knitted straight down and a ribbed edge is finished.
The sweater is assembly-free.

Size guide: Siw Sweater Junior should have a movement space of approx. 5-15 cm. The sizes 1-2 (2-3) 3-4 (4-5) 5-6 (6-7) 7-8 (8-9) 9-10 (10-12) 12-14 years correspond to a chest measurement of approx. 53 (54) 56 (57) 59 (62) 64 (68) 72 (78) 82 cm. Measure the child and estimate the size before you start knitting the sweater.
Knit strength: 17 stitches x 21 rows in stockinette stitch on needles 5.5 mm = 10 x 10 cm.
Guiding sticks: Circular needle 5.5 mm (60/80/100 cm and possibly 40 cm for the sleeves). Alternatively, double crochets can be used for the sleeves. Circular needle 4.5 mm for neck and ribbed edges.
