Eucalan: gentle wool soap for knitwear
Has a beautiful creation in wool fibers just jumped off the pegs at your home? And do you want to be sure that you wash it properly so that you can get a lot of pleasure from it? Then you should consider trying our Eucalan wool detergent. Here you get a beautiful wool soap that not only smells fantastic, but also washes and cares for your creations in the best possible way.
What can Eucalan be used for?
Eucalan is a wool detergent with lanolin, which can be used for both machine washing and hand washing. So regardless of which wool fibers you have knitted with and which washing instructions you must follow, you can use Eucalan to your advantage.
Eucalan has lots of good properties. Because it is a wool detergent with lanolin, it is especially good for those creations where you want to prevent things like static electricity. The lanolin also helps to maintain the softness of the fibres, which is a clear advantage of many different wool qualities. Last but not least, wool detergent with lanolin actually also helps to retain some of the good properties that wool is characterized by.
How to use Eucalan correctly
If you are going to wash a woolen knit, it is not only important that you use the right wool soap. It must also be used correctly. When you wash with Eucalan in a washing machine, we always recommend that you choose a fine program or a program made especially for wool.
If you wash your wool creations by hand, you can add about 5 ml of Eucalan to a bucket of lukewarm water. Leave the creation to soak for at least fifteen minutes, after which you just as carefully squeeze the water out of the creation. Remember never to start wringing out the water. There is also no need to rinse your creation afterwards.

Cedar balls to protect wool and knitwear from moths
Protect your woolen products effectively with moth balls made of natural cedar wood - also known as cedar balls. The characteristic scent of cedar deters moths and helps prevent damage to knitwear, wool and other natural fibers. The balls can be placed in cupboards, drawers or storage boxes, and they are an environmentally friendly alternative to chemical moth repellents. Freshen up the scent by lightly sanding the surface with sandpaper so they can be used year after year.
