We have previously called the quality Merino Pearl, due to the special way in which the yarn has been twisted. The thread looks like a series of small elegant pearls, which also helps to give the knitwear a beautiful and different surface. The thin thread and the glossy finish make this yarn the perfect quality if you need to knit or crochet slightly finer things for yourself and those you care about. It could be, for example, a cute baby set or a baby wrap, a thin shawl, beautiful accessories or maybe even a christening dress for the new little one.

Merino wool comes in many different qualities, with Perlata d'Australia being our thinnest quality. It is based on the best and longest fibers from the wool, and so it has all the properties that merino wool is known for. The delicious wool is also temperature-regulating, and therefore you can use the yarn for everything from summer peaks for cozy winter sweaters. And even though it is pure wool, it does not scratch, but feels silky and comfortable against the skin.

We can also say about this wonderful quality that:
•    50 grams corresponds to 233 meters.
•    You get the best result by knitting with a needle size 2.5-3.
•    28-30 stitches and 38 rows equals about 10x10 centimeters.
•    We recommend that you hand wash your creation at a maximum of 30 degrees.

Perlata d'Australia does not crease so much after washing, so if you want to be sure of getting the right result, you can make a knitting test and wash it before you start. That way, you can be sure that you choose the right knitting needles.

Our Perlata d'Australia can be used in many different ways. Knit with a single thread for a fine and elegant expression, or knit with double thread to get, for example, an exciting gradation effect. With trout, you can also knit it together with a single or two strands of soft Silk Mohair for a more luxurious look. Here, the shine from the elegant Merino Pearl will really come into its own.
