Lilja Tee is knitted from top to bottom in one piece. You begin by casting on stitches for the entire width of the neck and a few stitches for the shoulders and front pieces, and then you knit back and forth with removals for the rounding of the neck, shoulders and later neck and dome sleeves. Finally, the neck is gathered and knitted in the round, while still increasing for sleeves and armholes.
It gives a nice and feminine shoulder seam and the possibility to make a slight puff in the sleeves right up at the shoulder piece. Lilja Tee is assembly-free.
Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL)
The goal of the top: Overall dimension: approx. 77 (83) 90 (98) 103 (111) cm. Length: approx. 55 (56) 57 (59) 61 (62) cm measured in the middle of the back excl. ribbing at the neck. Width in sleeve rib: approx. 27 (28) 28 (29) 31 (32) cm, extended.
Size guide: Lilja Tee is a short-sleeved knit with short domed sleeves with a slight puff. It has a construction that gives it a feminine and tailored look. This means that it has a negative ease of approx. 3-9 cm and is therefore designed to stretch along the body. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL and (2XL) correspond to chest measurements of approximately 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) cm. Measure yourself and estimate your size before you start knitting the sweater.
Guiding sticks: Circular needle 3.5 mm (40/60 cm and 80 or 100 cm), circular needle 3.0 mm (40/80 cm). Alternatively, double crochets can be used for ribbed edges. Note, for our yarn alternative, a needle 4 mm is recommended to match the knitting strength. Remember a knitting test.
Knit strength: 21.5 sts x 31 rows in stockinette stitch on needles 3.5 mm = 10 x 10 cm.
