Lapis Sweater - Knitamore

The Lapis Sweater is a thick and delicious men's sweater with a turtleneck. The design is simple, but with beautiful saddle shoulders and straight sleeves in double rib knit, finished with Italian closure.

Lapis Sweater is knitted from top to bottom in stockinette stitch and with neck, shoulders and ribbed edges in double rib. First, the roll collar is knitted, and then stitches are divided into saddle shoulders, back and front piece. These three parts eventually come together to form the body. The body is knitted in the round in stockinette stitch and finished with a wide ribbed edge, which is closed with Italian closure. The sweater has straight sleeves without intake in double rib, which also closes with an Italian closure. The sweater is assembly-free.

The measurements of the sweater: Overall width: 98 (104) 110 (116) 122 cm. Length: 60 (62) 64 (67) 70 cm measured in the middle of the back without turtleneck. Sleeve length: 41 (42) 43 (44) 44 cm.

Size guide: Lapis Sweater should have a movement space of approx. 3-10 cm and is designed to sit relatively close to the body. The sizes S (M) L (XL) and 2XL correspond to chest measurements of approximately 90-95 (95-100) 100-107 (107-113) 113-119 cm. Measure the recipient of the sweater around the chest and estimate the size before you start knitting.

Knit strength: 12 stitches x 17 rows in stockinette stitch on needles 8.0 mm = 10 x 10 cm.

Guiding sticks: Circular needle 7.0 mm (80 cm or possibly 40 cm for the neck) and circular needle 8.0 mm (80/100 cm and possibly 40 cm for the sleeves). Alternatively, double crochets can be used for the neck and sleeves.
