Baby Alpaca 100% - Terracotta - 0179

Our Baby Alpaca 100% is an ultra-soft quality, which consists of 100% baby alpaca - the softest and finest form of alpaca for hand knitting. Here in the nice red-brown Terracotta colour. It is a versatile yarn that can be used both alone, together with a follower thread or as a substitute for Mohair. A good alternative to the woolly type or you who want a different look. 

The yarn is produced in a spinning mill in Peru. For many years, Spinderiet has made it their mission to constantly develop their initiatives within sustainability, social responsibility and animal welfare. The spinning mill is, among other things, known for their Social Responsibility Programs, which promote close cooperation with the shepherds and ensure safety and good working conditions.

Baby Alpaca 100% runs 200 meters per 25g and is a thin and elegant quality. It is best suited as a follow-up thread.
