The carrier piece is knitted in twisted rib and is shaped longer at the front and back using the German Short Rows technique, to be followed by a hole-patterned frill with a finishing picot edge. Stitches are then picked up for the further support piece and double increases are made to give the blouse its draped effect. The blouse is then knitted straight down in stockinette stitch and finished with an i-cord edging.
